Bacon mushroom cabonara

150g fettuccine
450g warm water
200g thick cream
3 rashers bacon
6 or so mushroom cups sliced
1 tsp crushed garlic

1 beaten egg

Grated cheese
To Prepare:
Grate cheese speed 5 to 10, keep aside.
Place all the ingredients in Tmx except the egg and program 15 mins, temp. 100ยบ, speed 1, reverse speed.
2 mins before the end, pour egg through the hole. Pour into serving dish, turn it upside down and turn the black screw part of the bottom of the blades, back and forth and all the pasta will fall out easily. Sprinkle cheese over the top.

I actually scorched the bottom of my tmx, which means i either cooked it too long or didnt have it on a high enough speed, so need to try it a few more times and see. and no photo as i basically inhaled it it was so good!!

ETA: just remade it without mushrooms, as I was out of them lol cooked on speed 1 and didnt stick or scald so will amend recipe

  1. It’s great that there are Thermomix recipes all over the internet and even books that can be bought. That’s one of the first things I did before buying a Thermomix, I checked out some of the things you can make with the machine and I wasn’t disappointed.
