Baby rusks


Recipe from the everyday cookbook
100grams spelt or wheat grains
150grams wheat germ
10g raw sugar/rapadura (can leave out)
60 grams breast milk or milk substitue
80 grams of butter/nuttelex

pre-heat oven to 170'c
mill grain for 1 minute speed 9, set aside
add butter to bowl and melt for 30 seconds 60'c speed 5
add all ingredients including milled grain and mix 4 seconds speed 6
set dial to closed lid and knead 3 mins on interval
pinch off balls and roll in palm of hand to a log shape. place on greasproof paper and bake for 40 mins or until brown and hard.
